Ian Ulises Castillo Pacheco, a student at Preparatoria ALFA Fundación, earned a Gold Medal at the 2025 Mesoamerican Physics Olympiad, competing against students from more than 20 countries across the region.

20 students from Preparatoria ALFA Fundación participated in the 35th State Chemistry Olympiad alongside more than 150 students from across Nuevo León.

State Biology Olympiad

Luis Demetrio Hernández Gómez and José Luis Santoy Cavazos earned First Place, qualifying them to begin specialized training to represent Nuevo León at the National Biology Olympiad.

Mexican Mathematical Olympiad National Women's Competition

Sayuri Lyn Ham Martínez and Celeste Cazarín stood out among the top students in the state, earning a place in the top three of their respective levels. They will proudly represent Nuevo León at the national stage of the competition.

National Geographic World Challenge 2025

Mariana Ameyali Aguilar González and Juan Pablo De La Cruz, sixth-semester students at Preparatoria ALFA Fundación, received the highest recognition in National Geographic’s “World Challenge 2025” for their project CAMO, an innovative prototype that converts air into drinking water.

Their proposal aims to address water scarcity in Monterrey and reduce plastic consumption, demonstrating how young people's ideas can make a real impact on the world.

Santiago Garza, Ángel Joram Treviño, and Diego Sotomayor earned a Silver Medal.

FIRST Robotics Competition

Our students from the Tigres Robotics Team excelled at the FIRST Robotics Competition, the world’s most prestigious robotics league, where they competed in Kansas, USA, against teams from universities across different states. They were honored with the Impact Award, the competition’s highest and most prestigious recognition. This achievement earned them a place at the FIRST Championship in Houston, Texas, where they will represent Mexico and compete against the best teams in the world. ✨

In addition, Francisco Javier Paulin Hernández received the Dean’s List Award, an elite distinction granted to only two students in the entire competition, recognizing his leadership and commitment to social responsibility.

20th Mathematics Olympiad 2024

The Mathematics Olympiad had more than 900 students participating in the first stage. Our students Oscar Mariano Solís (1st Year of Middle School), Celeste Margarita Casarín (3rd Year of Middle School), and Olaf Daniel Magos (3rd Year of Middle School) were recognized for being among the 27 finalists.

Olaf Daniel Magos earned First Place, and his award consisted of a 90% scholarship to UDEM High School.

Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, UANL. Completed a two-month academic stay at the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics (IMPA) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. IMPA is recognized as one of the most prestigious mathematics institutes in Latin America.
